Day 1

Welcome to Turkey!! When you arrive at ISTANBUL airport, our assistant will be waiting
with your name outside GATE 13. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2

Early departure by bus to Ankara to get to know the capital of Turkey. During the tour of
Ankara we visited the mausoleum of Ataturk, founder of Turkey.After lunch we drive to
Cappadocia to start your trip to the magical and amazing region of Cappadocia; which
with its characteristic layers of volcanic lava give shape to an incredible and unique
landscape and history. On the way from Cappadocia we will visit the salt lake. When we
arrived in Cappadocia we visited an underground city of Ozkonak or another similar
one, built by Christian communities to protect themselves from Arab attacks and
transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to this fantastic region with its spectacular fairy
chimneys, unique in the world. We start the day vallé de Derbent (valley of the
imagination) with its curious natural rock formations and fairy chimneys of different
shapes, such as a camel, a hat, etc. Then we visit the open-air museum of Göreme that
preserves churches, chapels and monasteries carved into the rock with frescoes of the
eleventh century. Lunch at a local and tasty restaurant and we drive to visit Avanos
which is the center of ceramic art in Turkey. It is located next to the Red River, which is
the longest river in Turkey. For many years, people use the terracotta mud from the
river to make ceramics there. We enjoyed the pottery demonstration in Avanos and we
continue with the Pasabag Valley (Valley of the Monks) where we will see the fairy
chimneys carved like churches. We will continue to the panorama of Göreme, where we
have a spectacular landscape of Fairy Chimneys and all of the Göreme Valley. Afterwards
we will make a stop at a carpet and kilim workshop to learn the local crafts and return to
the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Pamukkale, which is one of the unique points on the
UNESCO world heritage list seems to have been launched to this planet directly from a
fairy tale. Made up of numerous calcium-based shelves, filled with warm water packed
with minerals and goodness, this natural phenomenon is unlike anything you've
witnessed before. Also known as “Cotton Castle” Pamukkale is a marvel with its view.
Combined with the Pamukkale site is Hierapolis, an ancient Roman and Byzantine spa
town and used by the Romans as a healing center due to its proximity to the hot springs.
During the tour you will have free time to swim in the ancient pools and transfer to the
hotel. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale.

Day 5

Departure after breakfast to the famous ancient city of Ephesus, the best preserved

classical city in the Eastern Mediterranean, and one of the best places in the world to get

an idea of what Roman life must have been like. During the tour, we will visit the Odeon,

the Grand Theater, well preserved, where St. Paul preached that once had capacity for

25,000 spectators, the street of Curetes, Temple of Hadrian and the impressive Library

of Celsus, ancient public baths, a brothel, remains of fountains and several temples Then

we visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a pilgrimage site for many people of all

denominations. It has also been accepted by the Vatican as a pilgrimage destination. At

the end we will make a stop at an artisan leather shop. Dinner and overnight in Izmir.

Day 6

Breakfast. Day off. Accommodation. Possibility to take the optional excursion
"GREEK ISLAND CHIOS".

Breakfast. Departure to Pergamon. We visited the Asklepion, dedicated to the "god of

health", at the entrance to which you can see the reliefs of snakes, which later became

the symbol of medicine. This is the largest hospital in ancient history, known as a great

center of culture, art and medicine of that time. Next we visit the legendary city of Troy,

home of the famous Trojan Horse. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in

Canakkale.

Day 8

Breakfast. Early departure to Istanbul, crossing the Dardanelles Strait back to the

European part of Turkey. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Sultanahmet district to explore the Ancient
Peninsula of Istanbul. We start with the Blue Mosque to admire its six minarets and the
thousands of Iznik tiles inside the building. It is one of the best examples of classical
Ottoman architecture. Then we visit the splendid Basilica of Hagia Sophia of the VI
century which was the largest church of the Byzantine era. Lunch in a local and tasty
restaurant. The Topkapi Palace the official residence and administrative center of the
sultans of the Ottoman Empire for more than 400 years, famous for its excellent
collections of weapons, jewelry, porcelain and relics. In the afternoon we visit the
Roman Hippodrome square, where we have the Egyptian obelisk, the German fountain,
the Column of Constantine and the Serpentine column. After the tour return to the hotel
and free night in Istanbul.

At the scheduled time private transfer to the airport to take flight back and end of our

services.
